Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernest Spoelbergs kicked off to start the match. Bartosz Skikiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Skikiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Bucaneiros's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Bartosz Skikiewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes Bucaneiros's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. If Macos Graciani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bucaneiros's Bartosz Skikiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 14th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartosz Skikiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bartosz Skikiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ernest Spoelbergs might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernest Spoelbergs ran back to his position shaking his head. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Spoelbergs in the 17th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. 26 minutes into the game, Naldo de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bucaneiros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Naldo de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Bucaneiros's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Bartosz Skikiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clodoaldo á Borg's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoaldo á Borg helped the player get up and apologised. Clodoaldo á Borg kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Joel Gaona scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartosz Skikiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

In the 51stth minute of the game Laércio Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 52nd minute Bucaneiros were awarded a corner. Laércio Travassos went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 59th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bucaneiros's Bartosz Skikiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Bucaneiros from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Bucaneiros's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartosz Skikiewicz came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Bucaneiros getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Naldo de Salles hit a great ball. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bartosz Skikiewicz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alberto Tafalla had several of the Bucaneiros's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 72 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Bartosz Skikiewicz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bucaneiros's Bartosz Skikiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 75th minute of play. When Mexico's Joel Gaona in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bucaneiros's goalie prevented a goal. Bucaneiros's Bartosz Skikiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Ernest Spoelbergs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Zé Roberto de Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bucaneiros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when Bucaneiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto de Toledo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Bartosz Skikiewicz however easily saved by the left post. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
