Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lucas Ugutz kicked off to start the match. Lucas Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Carapa FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Lucas Ugutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Braulio Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Braulio Manny was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Ugutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the game, Alain Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carapa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Carapa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alain Marquez to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Joshua Secada fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 54th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. After 59 minutes of play, Carapa FC's Lucas Ugutz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Ugutz in the 62nd minute of the match. Virgilio Laffitte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes, Alex Chicote mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Carapa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. 74 minutes into the game, Carapa FC's Lucas Ugutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Lucas Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Ugutz in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 94 minutes, Lucas Ugutz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carapa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Ugutz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Carapa FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
