ForestFire's Reed Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reed Molina. ForestFire's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Reed Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after ForestFire's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Reed Molina despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute. Juan Sebastián Puig made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that ForestFire's Reed Molina managed to reach the ball for a save. ForestFire's Reed Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reed Molina. Reed Molina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 22 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. After a rather tough play, ForestFire's Russell Stinson got a free kick in the 27th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Reed Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reed Molina was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in ForestFire's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reed Molina came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Reed Molina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reed Molina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52nd minute, Russell Stinson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho scored 0-5 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reed Molina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgardo Courtney hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Reed Molina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 67 minutes in the game, Luis Andino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Reed Molina having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Reed Molina to make any attempt to save it. 73 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reed Molina. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Cristian Sancho scored 0-10 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reed Molina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milo Blanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Reed Molina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ForestFire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hal Bonilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milo Blanco in the 84th minute of play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lamar Knapp hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ForestFire throughout the match.
