Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Orlondon came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Orlondon in the 15th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Aritza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santiago Eladio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Delmar Libertad sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes Abiogenesis got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Libertad. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Jacobo Aritza sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Jacobo Aritza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abiogenesis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 45 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Eladio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Fernan Orlondon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Santiago Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abiogenesis's Cristo Maju was substituted for Jacobo Aritza. Abiogenesis's Joel Caetano was substituted for Eleuterio Iraido. Abiogenesis made a substitution. Gualterio Naelio replaced Ignacio Uzuri. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Fernan Orlondon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere.
