Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. Eugenio Fidensio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gallo Moron's goalkeeper Eugenio Fidensio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Eugenio Fidensio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Gallo Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarrod Pedroso to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 23rd minute of play forced Gallo Moron's goalkeeper Eugenio Fidensio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ernesto Farias sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Fidensio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 40th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Txomin made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 56 in the game by Cristian Sancho from a close distance when the talented Eugenio Fidensio managed to make a qualified save. Gallo Moron's players were relieved. Gallo Moron made a substitution. Urbano Viviano replaced Jarrod Pedroso. Gino Peruzzi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Denis Txomin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Gallo Moron booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gallo Moron fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
