Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. CerKeteam's Adolfo Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind CerKeteam's goalkeeper Adolfo Paris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CerKeteam's goalie prevented a goal. CerKeteam's Miroslaw Skikiewicz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. Adolfo Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfo Paris having to make a save. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Paris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 46th minute Hans Reints shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Paris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hans Reints to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Rufo Palomares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, CerKeteam's Adolfo Paris got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufo Palomares in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Miroslaw Skikiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Adolfo Paris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Adolfo Paris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adolfo Paris. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 82nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. CerKeteam's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CerKeteam's Adolfo Paris did a great save. CerKeteam's Adolfo Paris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save CerKeteam from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Adolfo Paris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to CerKeteam getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Guillaume Vanden Broucke hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
