Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 5th play minute Januário Castelo Branco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Anjos. In the 12th minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Figueiredo's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. António Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. António Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Manuel Anjos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Plácido Madureira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Burak Rede recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Burak Rede showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Miradeses FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burak Rede didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Manuel Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Januário Castelo Branco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Januário Castelo Branco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Miradeses FC's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Plácido Madureira came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Januário Castelo Branco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burak Rede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Noboa during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
