With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Krisztián Bartha tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Bertold Gyurkovics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Géza Tímár in the 10th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Géza Tímár in the 16th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertold Gyurkovics in the 20th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as TUSE's Krisztián Bartha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. After 26 minutes of play, TUSE's Olivér Bagi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Cotilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the game, one of Panama:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 30 minutes into the match, Ferenc Szőllőssy notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. Géza Tímár received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Cotilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Géza Tímár slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 38th minute. In the 40th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Bartha, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Géza Tímár in the 54th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by TUSE's Géza Tímár. But to his dismay, Géza Tímár quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Bartha, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivér Bagi in the 88th minute of play. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fülöp Magos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Géza Tímár scored 9-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Bartha, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. TUSE fully deserved thier win.
