Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 23rd minute, Luís Fernando Vides made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Zonta saved Jaru-Uaru from getting behind. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederico Zonta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Narciso Mendes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Fernando Vides made a kick off. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Frederico Zonta made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Jaru-Uaru's Frederico Zonta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Jaru-Uaru from getting a goal against them. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Jaru-Uaru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frederico Zonta quite easily take care of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Narciso Mendes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frederico Zonta could save by the left post. Jaru-Uaru's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Frederico Zonta, making the score, 2-2. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Luís Fernando Vides kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Frederico Zonta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Jaru-Uaru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frederico Zonta quite easily take care of the ball. Jaru-Uaru's Luís Fernando Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Velislav Irinchev's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Velislav Irinchev helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Jaru-Uaru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Velislav Irinchev to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Arias was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. Jaru-Uaru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
