Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Gilvan Chaves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 3-0 in the 11 minute of play. Róbson Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Róbson Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Róbson Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Lautaro Puig scored 4-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Mazza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rockets's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tales de Carvalho in the 34th minute. Tales de Carvalho made a great header on Rockets's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Róbson Messias went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. After 41 played minutes, Rockets's Tales de Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rockets reached it. Benjamin Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Róbson Messias to make the kick off. Benjamin Mazza was a little too slow when Eliseo Noboa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 5-2. 58 minutes into the game, Raí da Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rockets's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. In the 70th minute Ronaldo Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Gol came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Rubio during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Benjamin Mazza in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the game, Júlio Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rockets's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. A collision led to Rockets getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Júlio Pires hit a great ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Róbson Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rockets had played much better football throughout.
