Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jose Correa's late challenge caught a São Paulo F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. São Paulo F.C.'s Ronaldo Crispín got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Crispín, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Ronaldo Crispín received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronaldo Crispín slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. In the 25th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Crispíns short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 28 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Crispín lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when São Paulo F.C.'s Ronaldo Crispín fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 39 minutes, Dorian Quadros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the São Paulo F.C. and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to São Paulo F.C. getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Dorian Quadros hit a great ball. Ronaldo Crispín could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Yaya Sow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Crispín made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 52nd minute, Eugênio Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Godoi having to interfere. In the 59th minute Ronaldo Crispín shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Murillo Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiago Godoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Ronaldo Crispín put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. São Paulo F.C. made a substitution. Dirk Snabl replaced Vito Travassos. 79 minutes into the game, São Paulo F.C.'s Wanderson Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Crispín's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After 88 minutes of play, São Paulo F.C.'s Ronaldo Crispín made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the São Paulo F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
