Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Theo Hayles scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Pes in the 6th minute of play. Evelio Pes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Theo Hayles kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Theo Hayles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Secada to maneuver through the defense. If Theo Hayles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Pes in the 22nd minute of the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 37th minute of play forced Club Sportivo Italiano's goalkeeper Reynaldo Stephen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Hayles, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 39 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Evelio Pes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 61st minute Evelio Pes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Italiano's Evelio Pes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Club Sportivo Italiano's corner Luisito Bikendi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. In the 68th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Stephen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Pes in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Sportivo Italiano fully deserved thier win.
