The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Nofre Ibarrola tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sancho Vivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fix Aguilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sancho Vivero was left in no man's land by his defense there! If 宋渊岚 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sancho Vivero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Nofre Ibarrola took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dante Lacasa to make any attempt to save it. In the 23rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sancho Vivero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by 宋渊岚 in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sancho Vivero. ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 45th minute, Pál Nagy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute, Macos Graciani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 宋渊岚 to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão das Neves to maneuver through the defense. ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ's Sancho Vivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 58th minute of play. Sancho Vivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 64th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafel Viñambre to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ's Ramiro Quinten got a free kick in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 85th minute of play forced ¢σи єℓ вσℓѕσ иσ ¢σмρєтιѕ's goalkeeper Sancho Vivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macos Graciani made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luca Zorita immediately put the ball in play. Sancho Vivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 90th minute of play. Sancho Vivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 93rd minute of the match. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
