If Pino Van Hinnendaels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Daniel Ingelbert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Joachim Wiggers in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert. Bernt Tielemans kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bernt Tielemans hit a great ball. Abel Van Den Wijngaert charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Van Den Wijngaert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Van Den Wijngaert hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bernt Tielemans hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as KV Schoonwater's Elias Geraerts slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. In the 30th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Ingelbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 34th minute of play. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Abel Van Den Wijngaert 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Viklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernt Tielemans made in the 45th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pino Van Hinnendaels immediately put the ball in play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Abel Van Den Wijngaert tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Refael De Boeck fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KV Schoonwater's protests and gave Refael De Boeck a yellow card for diving instead. Refael De Boeck hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After 54 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Wiggers. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Viklund in the 57th minute of play. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Ingelbert having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniel Ingelbert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 78 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Tielemans. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Daniel Ingelbert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 87 minutes into the game, Sem Roekeloos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. KV Schoonwater's Philipp Stuijckens was substituted for Sem Roekeloos. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Franky Musseeuw replaced Abel Van Den Wijngaert. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KV Schoonwater fully deserved thier win.
