Carboncito's Higinio Brion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 6th minute of play. Cosme Sugar came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dante Lacasa could save by the left post. Higinio Brion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 16th minute of play. In the 26th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Brion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Isidoro Cordarryl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carboncito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Isidoro Cordarryl hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cosme Sugar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when Carboncito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Henric didn't get a good kick on the ball.

52 minutes into the match, Carboncito's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Higinio Brion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Carboncito's goalkeeper Higinio Brion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carboncito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mexico's Luca Zorita was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 61 played minutes Carboncito got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Beti. Higinio Brion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Fulgencio Poz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Fulgencio Poz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Edelmiro Prejun charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edelmiro Prejun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Carboncito's Edelmiro Prejun got a free kick in the 75th minute. Higinio Brion made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Xavier Seco sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute Joel Gaona suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Mexico's Bautista Elvira was substituted for Joel Gaona. The supporters of Mexico booed when Carboncito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Prejun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Brion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carboncito's Isidoro Cordarryl got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Isidoro Cordarryl off the ground. A collision led to Carboncito getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Isidoro Cordarryl hit a great ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
