Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Yasin Saleh succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. Pietro Echavarri hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Yasin Saleh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasin Saleh in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes in the game Salvador Gisbert did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Patricio Costa. 16 minutes into the game, Yasin Saleh lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. After having played for 19 minutes, Aļģis Engers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plaza Babys CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aļģis Engers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Plaza Babys CF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Aļģis Engers hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasin Saleh in the 26th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plaza Babys CF's Yasin Saleh got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Aparicio Ladra sent off a good shot on target. Yasin Saleh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yasin Saleh, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aļģis Engers came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Plaza Babys CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aļģis Engers couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Macías saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes Plaza Babys CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yasin Saleh in the 41st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Bernardino Aguilo scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 3-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yasin Saleh in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was a well-played corner which Yvon Fabelo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aparicio Ladra made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yasin Saleh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yasin Saleh in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Plaza Babys CF were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aļģis Engers took the corner. After taking down the ball on Plaza Babys CF's corner Aļģis Engers fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Joshua Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Macías read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. If Aļģis Engers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Abelardo Macías didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Yasin Saleh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Plaza Babys CF made a substitution. Joseba Sacristán replaced Zahar Garzon. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Macías having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 72 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aļģis Engers who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Aļģis Engers got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bo Kristiansson went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 80 minutes into the match, Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Abelardo Macías had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Plaza Babys CF's goalie prevented a goal. Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Plaza Babys CF from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Macías having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Plaza Babys CF's goalkeeper Abelardo Macías had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. After a rather tough play, Plaza Babys CF's Aļģis Engers got a free kick in the 87th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Macías made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 90th minute of play. Bo Kristiansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abelardo Macías. Abelardo Macías yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. Plaza Babys CF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
