The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute of the game Ivan Navarro made a throw-in which Sebastian Villa played forward. 20 minutes into the match, Brújula FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Arnaldo Cilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Arnaldo Herensuge tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Herensuge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. When Moises Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Tafalla couldn't finish the play. If Arnaldo Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 33rd minute of play forced Brújula FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Cilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Cilio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Albano Semeno with Cipriano Harri as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of Brújula FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Brújula FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Brújula FC's Cipriano Harri got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 57 minutes, Humberto Faro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brújula FC and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Brújula FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Humberto Faro hit a great ball. With a little luck, Brújula FC's Arnaldo Cilio got control of the ball when Sebastian Villa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Brújula FC defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Cilio. The Brújula FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Cilio should have stopped the shot. David Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Cilio was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Edmundo Espiga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edmundo Espiga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. A collision led to Brújula FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ognen Čaparovski hit a great ball. After 86 played minutes Brújula FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Faro. With a little luck, Brújula FC's Arnaldo Cilio got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Brújula FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Honduras's performance. The match ended with a win for Honduras.
