Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferruccio Borrelli came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ferruccio Borrelli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferruccio Borrelli came out and tried to block the shot, but Lautaro Mancebo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 92nd minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Luke in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
