In the 6thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiburones Rojos's Ferruccio Borrelli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Ferruccio Borrelli. Tiburones Rojos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 12th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tiburones Rojos's Ferruccio Borrelli. Ferruccio Borrelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Tiburones Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ferruccio Borrelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tiburones Rojos booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Sesuldo got free with Julio Vera in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Feliciano Sesuldo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-2 in the 23 minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Feliciano Sesuldo sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferruccio Borrelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feliciano Sesuldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Quico, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliciano Sesuldo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Tiburones Rojos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliciano Sesuldo to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliciano Sesuldo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Tiburones Rojos's Robert Haaland made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ferruccio Borrelli made a huge save. With a little luck, Tiburones Rojos's Ferruccio Borrelli got control of the ball when Felix Montes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tiburones Rojos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferruccio Borrelli in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 65th minute, Feliciano Sesuldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ferruccio Borrelli made a huge save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferruccio Borrelli came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 68th minute. In the 78th minute, Tiburones Rojos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luis Andino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tiburones Rojos's Ruben Lorien was substituted for Feliciano Sesuldo. 86 minutes into the match, Tiburones Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Ferruccio Borrelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Lorien in the 87th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferruccio Borrelli came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. The Tiburones Rojos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
