Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tio Lio kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Pacheco came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tio Lio got free with Thiago Pliego in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Glen Conklin might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thiago Pliego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Glen Conklin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute Tony Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Francisco Carballar hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Chile's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Tio Lio scored to the left of an out of position Thiago Pliego, making the score, 1-0. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 26th minute of play. New England Minas's Tio Lio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tio Lio. After 41 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Fontirroig. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Gerardo Pozo put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Chile:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of New England Minas:s goal. Chile:s Thiago Pliego showed great skill when he stopped Tony Pacheco:s penalty. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 55th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Jeremy Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 60th minute. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Edgardo Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. In the 69th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lalo Rosas to maneuver through the defense. Jeremy Nicholas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mariano Lacasa. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Alperen Öksüz took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. New England Minas's Arturo Sito was substituted for Edgardo Silva. Oscar Nordmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alperen Öksüz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Sito in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Lacasa to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Conny Tingberg got a free kick in the 92nd minute. New England Minas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chile for a fine match.
