Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Macías made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías. Abelardo Macías was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yasin Saleh went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 21 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Gisbert made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luis Andino. Daniel Zorita scored 1-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Macías, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasin Saleh in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Plaza Babys CF getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Zahar Garzon hit a great ball. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Abelardo Macías showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Aparicio Ladra came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yasin Saleh in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Yasin Saleh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Yasin Saleh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Abelardo Macías successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Bernardino Aguilo came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Plaza Babys CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Aguilo couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Abelardo Macías tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Plaza Babys CF's Abelardo Macías proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Plaza Babys CF from getting a goal against them. When Yasin Saleh came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Plaza Babys CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yasin Saleh couldn't finish the play. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Bernardino Aguilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Macías took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Kristiansson in the 88th minute of play. Yasin Saleh kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Juan Sebastián Puig's late challenge caught a Plaza Babys CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Sebastián Puig helped the player get up and apologised. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Plaza Babys CF's Aļģis Engers tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
