Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) El Salvador's Moises Fernandino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, AFC Viola Gigliati's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Garin Candina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldir Velaz hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 10th minute of play forced AFC Viola Gigliati's goalkeeper Garin Candina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Samuel Horduña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garin Candina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Tamayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Garin Candina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mateo Leguizamo made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Moises Fernandino. In the 24th minute, Iztal Lacalle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of El Salvador booed when AFC Viola Gigliati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Min Ordoña didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC Viola Gigliati's Garin Candina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 31st minute of play. Garin Candina came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Abram Luque. But to his dismay, Abram Luque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 36th minute, Abram Luque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Garin Candina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Garin Candina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Fernandino in the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to AFC Viola Gigliati getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Elorri Palmer hit a great ball. Min Ordoña charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Min Ordoña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half El Salvador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timeteo Surco was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Min Ordoña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Moises Fernandino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Garin Candina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AFC Viola Gigliati's Frutos Sator was substituted for Waldir Velaz. AFC Viola Gigliati's Garin Candina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save AFC Viola Gigliati from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Moises Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Garin Candina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Cosme Fole hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Garin Candina but with some difficulty. Garin Candina came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. In the 90th match minute, AFC Viola Gigliati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Min Ordoña to maneuver through the defense. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Garin Candina made a huge save. Garin Candina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 96th minute.
