Garin Candina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 72nd minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garin Candina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with Garin Candina in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Garin Candina came out and tried to block the shot, but Primitivo Escribano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-12 in the 77th minute. Jaime Pardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garin Candina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
