An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Lester Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Orlando Tafalla got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Santino Seco. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Leonides Rosio sent off a good shot on target. Camilo Mouricio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute San Lorenzo de Sarandi were awarded a corner. Elias Honrio went to the cornerflag to take it. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Elias Honrio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Abram Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lester Serre having to make a save. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Rosio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lester Serre didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Colombia's Axel Montenegro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. With a little luck, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre got control of the ball when Abram Sarmiento tried to sneak it across the goal line. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo de Sarandi from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kay Oppenheim to maneuver through the defense. Lester Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 64th minute of play. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Lester Serre made a huge save. When Colombia's Abram Sarmiento in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalie prevented a goal. Axel Montenegro charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Montenegro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Axel Montenegro got a free kick in the 74th minute. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Axel Montenegro hit a great ball. Abram Secada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Lester Serre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Ignacio Mastache's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lester Serre was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Lester Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 89th minute of play. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo de Sarandi from getting a goal against them. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lester Serre having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
