Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 9 minutes, Attilio Losito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stintino FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Stintino FC's Attilio Losito got a free kick in the 9th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonello Ranieri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Stintino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arrigo Iannucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonello Ranieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play forced Stintino FC's goalkeeper Antonello Ranieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonello Ranieri having to make a save. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Attilio Losito. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Felix Montenegro hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Attilio Losito got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Stintino FC's goalkeeper Antonello Ranieri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After 56 minutes Stintino FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Stintino FC's Antonello Ranieri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Stintino FC from getting a goal against them. Antonello Ranieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play forced Stintino FC's goalkeeper Antonello Ranieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonello Ranieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustín Saelices was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonello Ranieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Antonello Ranieri to make any attempt to save it. Antonello Ranieri made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Antonello Ranieri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Stintino FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Antonello Ranieri in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Antonello Ranieri to make any attempt to save it. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arrigo Iannucci's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Iannucci in the 83rd minute of play. Antonello Ranieri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonello Ranieri having to interfere. Antonello Ranieri made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
