Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antonello Ranieri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the game, Attilio Losito cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alvise Vittorio made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Attilio Losito immediately put the ball in play. Stintino FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alvise Vittorio in the 23rd minute. The corner led to Stintino FC's Alberto Iezzi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arrigo Iannucci got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stintino FC's goalkeeper Antonello Ranieri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Iezzi in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 48 minutes of play, Stintino FC's Alberto Iezzi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arrigo Iannucci made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Iannucci in the 53rd minute of play. Alberto Iezzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Antonello Ranieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After 71 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. A sloppy throw-in by Alvise Vittorio in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Concetto Petrella kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Antonello Ranieri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Antonello Ranieri made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Stintino FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonello Ranieri came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arrigo Iannucci's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. If Augusto De Nardis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Stintino FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Iezzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stintino FC had played much better football throughout.
