When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Rosendo Diagur took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Diagur in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Rosendo Diagur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huacalera FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Kaj Dahlberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 25th minute of play forced Huacalera FC's goalkeeper Kaj Dahlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaj Dahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 27th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Ostots in the 28th minute of the match. Kaj Dahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Samuel Navarro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Huacalera FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Alejandro Ezkerra hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Huacalera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Kaj Dahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Ostots in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Luis Cazalla hit a great ball. Huacalera FC's Kaj Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 62nd minute of play. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. The throw-in from Alejandro Ezkerra in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Antonio Indiano. In the 68th minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Secada scored 2-4 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kaj Dahlberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kaj Dahlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 74th minute. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kaj Dahlberg made a huge save. When Colombia's Ignacio Mastache in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Alejandro Ezkerra fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huacalera FC's protests and gave Alejandro Ezkerra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Colombia booed when Huacalera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Ezkerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Ignacio Mastache took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Kaj Dahlberg to make any attempt to save it. Huacalera FC's Kaj Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 94th minute of play. After some careless play in the Huacalera FC defense, Abram Secada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaj Dahlberg. The Huacalera FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaj Dahlberg should have stopped the shot. Colombia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
