Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Carl Pagnier in the 14th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anak Opat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Guillermo in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidro Calvino. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidro Calvino in the 26th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrián Guillermo went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 45th minute of play forced VIEDMA FC's goalkeeper Anak Opat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After a rather tough play, VIEDMA FC's Melchor Teofilio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The supporters of VIEDMA FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by VIEDMA FC's Adrián Guillermo. But to his dismay, Adrián Guillermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Guillermo in the 59th minute of play. If Isidro Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anak Opat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When VIEDMA FC's Adrián Guillermo in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Isadore in the 75th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Isadore went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. VIEDMA FC's Pablo Chan was substituted for Isidro Calvino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Domingues in the 83rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Lucas Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. The audience was convinced that Lucas Domingues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. VIEDMA FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
