The supporters of Soflov FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patricio Salamon having to make a save. The coaching staff of Venezuela protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jonathan Venegas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 17th minute. Soflov FC's David Oriol shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Feliks Nieruchliwy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patricio Salamon. Soflov FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Patricio Salamon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Soflov FC's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Salamon came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliks Nieruchliwy's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Feliks Nieruchliwy sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant.
