Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Feliks Nieruchliwy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Salamon having to interfere. 9 minutes into the game, Marco Domeka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soflov FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Marco Domeka hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Soflov FC's Patricio Salamon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. Patricio Salamon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Salamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 28th minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliks Nieruchliwy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patricio Salamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Patricio Salamon quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Patricio Salamon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Soflov FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliks Nieruchliwy in the 52nd minute of the match. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Patricio Salamon managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patricio Salamon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute. Patricio Salamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 67th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Patricio Salamon. That made the score 0-1 after 69 minutes of play. Patricio Salamon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Salamon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Patricio Salamon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
