Nazil Canay succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 18th playminute. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Nazil Canay sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Nazil Canay got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nazil Canay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Nazil Canay made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Eustacio Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 45th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Nazil Canay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guns And Roses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Guns And Roses's Luis Admon was substituted for Agustin Txatxu. Guns And Roses made a substitution. Jesús Salvador replaced Nazil Canay. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. If Jesús Salvador had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Jesús Salvador came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Jesús Salvador left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guns And Roses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Guns And Roses's Jesús Salvador. But to his dismay, Jesús Salvador quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 87th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Jesús Salvador got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesús Salvador sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesús Salvador, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Jesús Salvador might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesús Salvador ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Salvador in the 92nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match, Patricio Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eustacio Misael saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Guns And Roses's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
