In the 12thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's 白延珂 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kendrick Zeigler got free with Rolando Noboa in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Gracias a la Pelota - DAM were awarded a corner. Savion Labra went to the cornerflag to take it. Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's Adolf Hitchcock was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Noboa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 白延珂 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 白延珂. Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The throw-in from Reinaldo Diniz in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Emmanuel Reyes got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Milagros Fraga. Reinaldo Diniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 白延珂 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Savion Labra to strike the kick off in the second half. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. 白延珂 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Gracias a la Pelota - DAM made a substitution. Kazimierz Boniek replaced Savion Labra. Luz Tejedor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but 白延珂 made a huge save. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's goalkeeper 白延珂, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gracias a la Pelota - DAM made a substitution. Sylvester Grubbs replaced Caio Silveira. Jurgen Habermas made in the 79th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Reinaldo Diniz. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Reinaldo Diniz made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Rafael Gallo made a precise shot to the right of 白延珂.
