George Mbappè kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Messi in the 17th minute of play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Three Lions FC's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and George Messi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. George Messi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 26 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was George Kroos who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Three Lions FC's corner George Messi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of play forced Three Lions FC's goalkeeper George Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Messi got free with Julio Vera in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Buffon having to make a save. 41 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but George Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Ekeroth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 50th minute of the match Three Lions FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. George Kroos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in George Kroos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell George Messi to make the kick off. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. George Lukaku hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when George Messi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute George Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Daniel Zorita's late challenge caught a Three Lions FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Zorita helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 76th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when George Messi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gunnar Ekeroth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Kane to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. George Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Three Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Ekeroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. George Lukaku hit a great ball. In the 99th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Three Lions FC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
