Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Artur Leenders got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Johannes Uijtterhoven was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Johannes Uijtterhoven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. When Malvinas Argentinas's Artur Leenders in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner led Malvinas Argentinas's Ezequiel Pierres to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Uijtterhoven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Batı Gol in the 28th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Uijtterhoven having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Uijtterhoven was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Malvinas Argentinas's Artur Leenders got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Leenders in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Uijtterhoven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Malvinas Argentinas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The Johannes Uijtterhoven was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 47th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Uijtterhoven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Johannes Uijtterhoven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Johannes Uijtterhoven in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Artur Leenders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Deunoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
