Feliks Drzewucki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Moisés Soeiro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonio Uranga. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Uranga having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Moisés Soeiro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Antonio Uranga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Antonio Uranga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliks Drzewucki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Antonio Uranga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 40th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Feliks Drzewucki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Real Kuskatan C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Antonio Uranga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Real Kuskatan C.F.'s zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Uranga came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Feliks Drzewucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Antonio Uranga got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliks Drzewucki, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Antonio Uranga came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Feng Hao Hui stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Feng Hao Hui tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Real Kuskatan C.F. were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Feliks Drzewucki took the corner. After taking down the ball on Real Kuskatan C.F.'s corner Feliks Drzewucki fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Kuskatan C.F.'s Juan Campos. But to his dismay, Juan Campos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play forced Real Kuskatan C.F.'s goalkeeper Antonio Uranga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Real Kuskatan C.F. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
