Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luisito Lico got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Mikeldi. In the 11th minute of the match Churriaca got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edelmiro Mikeldi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edelmiro Mikeldi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. In the 11th minute, Cayetano Richie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peng Sang Yuan in the 13th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Peng Sang Yuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. If Peng Sang Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Churriaca's Peng Sang Yuan got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Churriaca's Edelmiro Mikeldi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Churriaca's Baldomero Tulio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Churriaca's Baldomero Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of play. Baldomero Tulio came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 45th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Edelmiro Mikeldi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Edelmiro Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Tulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Alex Chicote managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hilario Barbosa in the 55 minute of the game. Peng Sang Yuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. In the 61st match minute, Churriaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Churriaca booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Mikeldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Churriaca getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Vilbogi Benjamínsson hit a great ball. The supporters of Churriaca booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Lico in the 95th minute of play. The supporters of Churriaca booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 98 minutes, Luisito Lico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Churriaca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Lico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Churriaca were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
