In the 16th minute of the match Canada got a corner. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Koby Wright ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Luka Harris managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 19th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koby Wright in the 21st minute of the match. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koby Wright in the 23rd minute of play. Tytus Orling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Canada's Jax Williamson got control of the ball when Su Jian Jie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty was substituted for Luan Pombo. Koby Wright sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Koby Wright notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad. David Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seyfettin Onursoy in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jax Williamson saved Canada from getting behind. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyfettin Onursoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Filip Edwards's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Abad was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. David Abad was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Luka Harris capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luka Harris really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Canada made a substitution. Prince Anderson replaced Carter George. 77 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Edwards came free, but David Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canada's Theo Burton managed to work through Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Theo Burton dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Canada's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
