Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eurico Peixoto started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Eurico Peixoto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. After 8th play minutes Eurico Peixoto shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 12th minute of play. Acácio Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Per-Oskar Nordstedt struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibis Football Club. 25 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Acácio Vasco. Ibis Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Ibis Football Club's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Vasco came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico Peixoto took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Acácio Vasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Acácio Vasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of the match. Ibis Football Club's Eurico Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ibis Football Club booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes, Amauri Lago mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibis Football Club and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play forced Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Acácio Vasco made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Peixoto in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Ibis Football Club from getting a goal against them. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Acácio Vasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Ibis Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Acácio Vasco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ibis Football Club's goalkeeper Acácio Vasco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Acácio Vasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acácio Vasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acácio Vasco made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador played a much better game than Ibis Football Club and deserved their victory. The Ibis Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
