Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 8th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Shantala made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after Juventud Antoniana's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Baldomero Shantala came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugenio Abeitia got free with Julio Vera in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 31 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 33 played minutes Juventud Antoniana got a freekick which was hit by Bautista Gaceo. In the 34th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Baldomero Shantala in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 39th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Juventud Antoniana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Baldomero Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 42nd minute. If Eugenio Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Juventud Antoniana's Nicasio Demario got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugenio Abeitia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Juventud Antoniana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lobo Lobo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Juventud Antoniana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bautista Gaceo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Baldomero Shantala in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juventud Antoniana's Niceto Sadurni was substituted for Lobo Lobo. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 67th minute. In the 81st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Trayan Davchev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Trayan Davchev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Baldomero Shantala to make any attempt to save it. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ecuador played a much better game than Juventud Antoniana and deserved their victory. The Juventud Antoniana players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
