When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Eliseo Mina put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel Santos. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when CJ Lewandowski sent off a good shot on target. Milagros Fraga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Santos having to make a save. A nice corner shot did that Alonso Berganza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Samuel Santos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Peru's Alonso Berganza came free and shot a quick shot against goal 67 minutes in the game, fortunately Samuel Santos had problems saving as it came toward the left post. La Società Sport Osasco made a substitution. Demircan Nadi replaced CJ Lewandowski. Peru were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after La Società Sport Osasco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Samuel Santos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Società Sport Osasco's goalkeeper Samuel Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
