The audience was convinced that Ariel Osorio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 79 played minutes Rompe Tibias Club got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Bidari. Rene Gil was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jaime Cazalla. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Rompe Tibias Club getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Evaristo Bidari hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 96th minute of play forced Rompe Tibias Club's goalkeeper Rene Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Gil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 96th minute of the match. Uruguay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
