Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Florian Capasso got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Florian Capasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Capasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Florian Capasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Florian Capasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Capasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Marcinho Sabóia took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fumanchu Ponta. 25 minutes into the match, Florian Capasso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florian Capasso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Capasso came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Capasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florian Capasso in the 38th minute of play. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mauro-Facundo Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Florian Capasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 54 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Fellipe Capixaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Fellipe Capixaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Hélder Fonseca replaced Florian Capasso. In the 67th minute of the match Merusca F&P - CIMZ got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fellipe Capixaba ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Fellipe Capixaba to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Vidal came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Merusca F&P - CIMZ made a substitution. Geovani Mangueira replaced Anderson Vidal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro-Facundo Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Kalju Vint got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute Hélder Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merusca F&P - CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fellipe Capixaba took the corner. Merusca F&P - CIMZ's Fellipe Capixaba was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Merusca F&P - CIMZ.
