Rompe Tibias Club's Rene Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 11th minute of play. Honorio Kaiet kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rompe Tibias Club's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Gil came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciriaco Sadurni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 34th minute of play forced Rompe Tibias Club's goalkeeper Rene Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Osorio came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Cambeiro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Sadurni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Rompe Tibias Club's Nicanor Basajaun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Osorio made a kick off. Ariel Osorio took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Sadurni came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Gil having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Marcelino Bermudez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rompe Tibias Club and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcelino Bermudez hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Panama's Aaron Barrios seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aaron Barrios the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Panama protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aaron Barrios had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 71st minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Gil saved Rompe Tibias Club from getting behind. 81 minutes into the game, Abraham Alguacil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rompe Tibias Club the free kick. The supporters of Rompe Tibias Club booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Angel Aguilera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rompe Tibias Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Aguilera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cotilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Osorio in the 84th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Berganza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Gil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90thth minute of the game Miguel Miralles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rompe Tibias Club's Rene Gil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Ros during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 96 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Sadurni came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
