Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Silvano Urtsua got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Villa La Perla's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Erauso came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Villa La Perla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Santio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teo Erauso skillfully saved the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Urtsua in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Villa La Perla's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Teo Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Erauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Erauso was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the game, Valentin Ofelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa La Perla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Valentin Ofelio got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 17 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Erauso having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Teo Erauso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Villa La Perla defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teo Erauso. The Villa La Perla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Erauso should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Villa La Perla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Teo Erauso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Teo Erauso made a huge save. A hard shot 63 in the game by Luis Andino from a close distance when the talented Teo Erauso managed to make a qualified save. Villa La Perla's players were relieved. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Teo Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Villa La Perla's Teo Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo Erauso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Teo Erauso came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 80th minute. Daniel Zorita succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 85th playminute. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Teo Erauso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Villa La Perla getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jorge Aragones hit a great ball. Teo Erauso came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6.
