Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off which started today's match. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacek Dudzik hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Freddy Sabin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 2-0. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Bakker in the 24th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Sabin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Sabin's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Martinez came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match, Hugo Bakker got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lautaro Navarro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Sabin's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Gregorio Martinez tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Resistencia getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jacek Dudzik hit a great ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Resistencia's goalkeeper Gaetano Mathieu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Ivan Navarro made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sebastian Villa however managed to control. 54 minutes into the match, Resistencia's Hugo Bakker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Bakker in the 60th minute of play. Emanuel Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Freddy Sabin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Freddy Sabin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the match, Resistencia's goalkeeper Gaetano Mathieu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. When Edmundo Espiga fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Edmundo Espiga a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Resistencia's Hugo Bakker. But to his dismay, Hugo Bakker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Sabin in the 85th minute of the match. Genaro Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Resistencia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
