To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Penuel Football Club getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Luo Jing hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Tomas Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. When Victor Amato came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Penuel Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Amato couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Alguacil came free, but Epifanio Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Lizer Cordal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lizer Cordal in the 45th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Penuel Football Club's Lizer Cordal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Lizer Cordal made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordara Creus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
