Alonso Snider scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alonso Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonso Snider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Max Paquette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when San Antonio HotSPURS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Snider didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alonso Snider in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Antonio Corley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonso Snider in the 65th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, San Antonio HotSPURS's goalkeeper Cesar Donio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. San Antonio HotSPURS's Stefanos Kassanos was substituted for Jarod Davison. San Antonio HotSPURS made a substitution. Cary Wright replaced Stewart Pritchard. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by San Antonio HotSPURS's Elon-Reeve Musk. If Alonso Snider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 79th minute. There was no doubt that San Antonio HotSPURS were the better team. San Antonio HotSPURS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
