Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Bartoszek in the 12th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Bartoszek came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Lennon in the 20th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umbrella Corporation's Sebastião Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Umbrella Corporation's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Sebastião Barbosa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Sebastião Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Legimin Witarya hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute of play forced Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper Sebastião Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Alonzo Che sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Sebastião Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Fabrício Fantini was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Legimin Witarya hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Sebastião Barbosa to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Umbrella Corporation getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Legimin Witarya hit a great ball. Alonzo Che blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. 69 minutes into the match, Leszek Kornasiewicz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper Sebastião Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Sebastião Barbosa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 79 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastião Barbosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 82nd match minute, Umbrella Corporation was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Curado to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Joel Gaona couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Umbrella Corporation. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
