Despite this Timo Courtois quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮王者归来≯☆梦B☆〓再续前缘〓's goalkeeper Timo Courtois, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippo Inzaghi. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 陶远星 in the 25th minute of play. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 陶远星 to strike the kick off in the second half. Timo Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 51st minute. In the 65th minute, 苏耀奕 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timo Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Timo Courtois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Gallo's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Timo Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippo Inzaghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
