Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Worst Team Ever's Isaias Eguerdi got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Worst Team Ever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 played minutes Worst Team Ever got a freekick which was hit by Felix Hedlund. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jaime Cazalla hit a great ball. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Worst Team Ever's goalkeeper Lazaros Kotsiopoulos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lazaros Kotsiopoulos saved Worst Team Ever from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Isaias Eguerdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Worst Team Ever's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Eguerdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, Alberto Gisbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaias Eguerdi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stor Klack in the 52nd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos made a huge save. After 56 minutes Worst Team Ever's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jaime Cazalla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Worst Team Ever's Lazaros Kotsiopoulos did a great save. A hard shot 57 in the game by Maximiliano Escribano from a close distance when the talented Lazaros Kotsiopoulos managed to make a qualified save. Worst Team Ever's players were relieved. 65 minutes into the match, Stor Klack had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stor Klack was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Kevin Carballal hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Mito Chochkov came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beldad. József Murai charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed József Murai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, József Murai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Uruguay's Camilo Franco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lazaros Kotsiopoulos. Lazaros Kotsiopoulos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. In the 79th minute, Maximiliano Escribano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lazaros Kotsiopoulos. The goal made the score 2-3. 83 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Stor Klack came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great ball. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos made a huge save. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Lazaros Kotsiopoulos made a huge save. The Worst Team Ever fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
